Elementary Education Academics

Classes include a blended curriculum of A Beka, Bob Jones, ACSI and other textbooks. Reading and language instruction is given using phonics, speed, fluency, creative writing, thinking skills, spelling and grammar.

Mathematics is taught the traditional way with skill development, cognitive exercises, and memorization of math facts.

Bible emphasizes God’s love for us, living a pleasing life to God, Scripture memorization, discipleship and a Christian world view.

History and geography focus on our Christian heritage, freedom and government, cultures and societies, humanism vs. Christianity, map skills, and U.S. and world geography.

Science teaches the scientific method, God’s law and order, nature, biology, introduction to chemistry and physics, earth and space, health and nutrition, and creation versus evolution. The science curriculum is offered with hands on experimentation in our new state of the art science lab.

Physical education, art, music, computers, Spanish, and gifted and talented programs are also offered.
